sometimes people ask me whether we can cure any disease through yoga or not.My answer always is that we sure can cure small diseases through yoga but manage incurable disease like diabetes, cancer, arthritis, thyroid by doing yoga with right posture and breathing,as doctors do.they don't cure what they do is only manage the disease by medication.but medicines have side effects and yoga doesn't have any ill effects, rather it purifies your mind ,body and soul and keeps you calm even in most stressful period,I again am saying'breathing',as it differentiate yoga from exercise.sometimes people say that trikonasan and many more asans are the same they used to do in their physical training classes in their school time.I say yes these are same if you do these without breathing and 'holding'In yoga we hold any posture for minimum 30 seconds to up to yogi's stamina.and after doing three minutes of asan there are different different rest poses for every asan.,which is very important.people who start doing yoga without any proper training ,hurt their ligaments and then complain that they tried yoga once and it didn't suit them.
